Advanced Expenditure Processing & Documentation

Purpose:		This is an advanced course designed for employees with more than six months experience processing purchase payment vouchers or who want to review Comptroller purchase rules and guidelines. Participants will discuss advanced procedures and policies, review helpful resources, and tackle exercises to reinforce classroom material. Participants will also learn from each other by sharing information about purchase situations they have encountered.
Description:		Participants will be able to: Discuss frequently used expenditure processing and documentation resources and utilize online resources Discuss advanced sections of the eXpendit online web tool Research payments in TINS and USAS Avoid common post-payment audit findings
Prerequisites:		It is recommended that students take the Basic Expenditure Processing & Documentation course before taking this course, but it is not required. It is also recommended that students have a working knowledge of TINS and USAS.
