Created in 1987 by TEX. GOV'T CODE ANN. § 465.001. Established by S.B. 1169, 69th Leg., R.S. Amended by S.B. 543, 72nd Leg., R.S. Phase out of the project began 9-1-95 and employees finally terminated in 7/98. Texas Facilities Commission and General Land Office handled disposition of land and equipment, and the Bond Review Board is handled outstanding bonds. Finally repealed and obsolete language referring to the commission deleted in H.B. 387, 80th Leg., R.S. effective 9-1-07.
