Agency abolished effective September 1, 1993 per S.B. 674, 73rd Leg., R.S. and duties transferred to Health Department, Agency 501. S.B. 84, 75th Leg., R.S. created the Texas Board of Nursing Facility Administrators within the Department of Human Services, Agency 324. Now handled under reorganized Department of Aging and Disability Services, Agency 539.
