Sunset date changed from 2021 to 2023 by S.B. 713, 87th Leg., R.S.
S.B. 2040, 88th Leg., R.S. abolished the board 9/1/23 but continues it until 9/1/24 for the purpose of transferring obligations, property, rights, powers, and duties to the Funeral Service Commission (513). All unexpended and unobligated funds of the board are transferred to General Revenue for the purpose of the commission administering Health and Safety Ch. 691.
