Sunset Review added by H.B. 3459, 78th Leg., R.S.
Prior to H.B. 2024, 80th Leg., R.S., § 88.701(b), Education Code prevented the agency from being a part of the A&M University System. H.B. 2024 deleted this subsection. The bill also removed the agency from sunset review.
"A&M" added to agency name by board approval starting September 1, 2012.
