Board may charge a fee for issuing a teaching certificate. The fee must be reasonable and cover the administrative costs of issuing the certificate. The board may adopt fee for the approval of an educator preparation program.
As part of the certification process, the board may charge a requestor a fee for the issuance of a Criminal History Evaluation Letter. The fee adopted by the board must be sufficient to cover the cost of issuing the letter.
The agency may adopt fees to cover implementing a program designating a certified classroom teacher as a master, exemplary or recognized teacher for a five year period.
