To record the disbursement of funds received as intergovernmental transfers for initiatives to maximize federal matching Medicaid funds for Uncompensated Care (UC), Upper Payment Limit (UPL) and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments to State Hospitals (DSRIP) programs. This object includes disbursement of intergovernmental transfers received by the Health and Human Services Commission to state hospitals, not to exceed the Medicare upper payment limit.
RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by the Health and Human Services Commission, Agency 529, and the Department of State Health Services, Agency 537.Uncompensated Care (UC) and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments to State Hospitals (DSRIP) programs added per HHSC request. New programs approved in 1115 waiver by federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), December 2011.
