To record the transfer of revenue from the state lottery account to GR Account - Foundation School. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation will make monthly computations of amounts to be transferred.
Lottery Commission created by H.B. 1587, 73rd Leg., R.S.
The transfers are required to be made by the 15th day of each month.
The portion previously transferred to unobligated General Revenue was redirected to the Foundation School Account by H.B. 4, 75th Leg., R.S.
Transfers to the commission's operating account will be made using object codes 3968/7968, effective 9-1-99.
S.B. 1655, 81st Leg., R.S. created Veteran's Assistance Game where amounts generated from that game are deposited to Fund for Veterans' Assistance (0368).
S.B. 3070, 89th Leg., R.S. abolished the Lottery Commission (362) and transferred all programs and duties to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (452) effective 9/1/2025.
