Description


To record payment for awards when authorized by law.

Expenditure code 7211 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Awards (state employees - limit $100)
  • Awards (volunteers - limit $50)
  • Engraving Employee Awards
  • Frames (for employee awards)
  • Framing of Employee Awards
  • Texas Star Award
  • Veteran incentive awards for non-state employees


Notes


This code does NOT include:

  • Payments to employees for emoluments and allowances (7031)
  • Incentive awards to state employees or entities for service to veterans. (7037)
