To record payments made to reimburse the Employees Retirement System (ERS) State Employees Cafeteria Plan bank account. Payment amounts are based on the total dollar value of all claims made the previous day from state employees participating in the Cafeteria Plan. Payroll deductions from state employees are received by ERS and deposited to the State Employees Cafeteria Plan Trust Fund (0943). ERS reimburses the health care and dependent care claims daily based on information from the third party administrator.
