Description


To record payment for medical services and attorney fees in Workers' Compensation Claims processed by agencies and institutions of higher education authorized to maintain self insurance programs for workers' compensation.

Expenditure code 7232 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Chiropractic Services (workers' compensation self-insurance)
  • Hospital (workers' compensation self-insurance)
  • Medical (workers' compensation self-insurance)
  • Nursing (workers' compensation self-insurance)
  • Physician (workers' compensation self-insurance)
  • Prescriptions (workers' compensation self-insurance)
  • Workers' Compensation (self-insurance)

RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by the Texas Department of Transportation, Agency 601, and institutions of Higher Education participating in the state self-insurance program.
