Description

To record the payment of stipends as authorized by law. This code includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Stipends paid to commissioned peace officers for bilingual skill, education level or TCLEOSE certification level.
  • Travel stipends paid to examiners employed by the Credit Union Department and the Department of Banking as authorized by the General Appropriations Act.

Note

RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by agencies authorized to make a stipend payment. See the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) Comptroller Object Relationship Edit Profile (8C) for eligible agencies.
