Description


To record the payment of fees required to be paid for filing official documents, excluding those related to court costs for filing suits on behalf of the state. This includes the payment of lien filing fees, filing of titles and any other document filed with a district or county clerk for which a fee is required by law. This also includes a fee paid to a county clerk for preparing an abstract of judgment.

Expenditure code 7222 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Abstract of Judgment
  • Citation (filing fee) - not a penalty
  • Filing Fees (documents)
  • Lien Filing Fee
  • Tax Lien (filing fee)
  • Titles, Filing Fees


Notes


This code does NOT include:

  • Costs of filing suits on behalf of the state (7223)
