To pay for medical services for wards of the state and authorized medical services for state agencies.

Expenditure code 7248 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Ambulance Service
  • Audiology Consultation
  • Autopsy - pathologist
  • Diagnostic Evaluation - Medical
  • Drug testing and pre-employment
  • Eyeglasse Prescription (replacements for employees)
  • Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN's)
  • Medical examinations required by retirement systems
  • Medical Services (employee)
  • Medical Services (wards of the state)
  • Medical treatment for individuals called to active military duty
  • Nurses (all)
  • Occupational therapist
  • Otolaryngology Services
  • Pathology
