Description


To record payments made to retailers for retailer commissions. Pursuant to TEX. GOV'T CODE § 466.358, the commission amount shall equal no less than 5% of the retail price of tickets sold. Prior to 9-1-07, retailer commissions were recorded with retailer bonuses under object code 7207 -- Lottery Incentive Bonus.

Expenditure code 7260 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Lottery Retailer Commission


Notes


This code does NOT include:

  • Service fee paid to lottery operator (7206)
  • Retailer incentive bonuses (7207)

RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Agency 452.
