Description
To record the distribution of a donation or transfer out of capital assets to a non-state entity. This code is used to record the difference between the book value and cash exchange, if any. "For government funds, this code is used in basis conversion entry to record capital assets. For proprietary and fiduciary fund types, this code is used to reduce capital assets in fund financial statements.
Note
RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by agency 601 TXDot. Transportation Code 228.151 authorizes TxDot to transfer (or donate) capital assets to an outside entity subject to approval of the Governor.
