Purpose

The attorney representing the state and special rangers of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association meeting requirements of Art. 2.125 may enter into a local agreement allowing the attorney representing the state to transfer forfeited property sale proceeds to the fund. Money may be used only by the special rangers for law enforcement purposes, training, equipment and operations. The rangers are appointed by the Texas Department of Public Safety under Art. 2.125.
