Purpose
The capitol fund was established in 1989 as a trust held outside the treasury in Safekeeping Trust to receive donations, proceeds from surplus property sales, vending and gift/souvenir shop revenues. This fund established with treasury in the Uniform Statewide Accounting System to facilitate processing and reporting of revenues and expenditures from gift/souvenir shop sales, including payroll, through the Uniform Statewide Payroll System.
