Purpose

This account is created in General Revenue for the receipt of license plate fees. In addition to other fees, a fee of $30 shall be charged for specially designed license plates that include the words, "Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo". Of each fee, $22 will be credited to this account and the remainder will be credited to the State Highway Fund (0006). Money in the account may be used only by the Coordinating Board to make grants to benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
