Purpose
Account in the General Revenue Fund consists of fees collected from intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded and income earned on the account. May be used to offset expenses incurred to administer the quality assurance fee under this chapter, to increase reimbursement rates paid under the Medicaid program to facilities or waiver programs for persons with mental retardation operated in accordance with 42 U.S.C. Section 1396n(c) and its subsequent amendments, or for any other health and human services approved by the Governor and Legislative Budget Board.
