Recreated as a GR Account and exempt from loss of dedication (§ 403.094, Government Code) by H.B. 3050, 74th Leg., R.S.

H.B. 2154, 81st Leg., R.S. created the new GR Account Physician Education Loan Repayment Program (5144) and exempted it in H.B. 4583, funds consolidation. The new 5144 account replaces this account (0542) to receive tuition set asides, effective 9/01 2009. The balance of this account as of 8/31/2009 shall be available for appropriation or disbursement by the legislature.
