Purpose
Account in the General Revenue Fund consisting of appropriations, benefits realized from a project undertaken with money from the fund, gifts, grants and other donations and interest earned. Used for incentives for collaboration between certain entities, for research awards matching and for acquisition of research superiority. Also used for staff and administration of the fund, including administration by the Governor's Office (Added by H.B. 1188, 80th Leg., R.S.).
