Purpose

Created as a suspense account outside the Treasury, consists of eligible taxable proceeds collected by or forwarded to the Comptroller (304). Used to rebate, refund or pay each qualified hotel project the hotel occupancy taxes, and sales and use taxes to which the project is entitled.
