Purpose

A fund outside the state treasury held by the comptroller. Includes appropriations grants, gifts, donations and interest. The comptroller administers and manages the assets of the fund. Health and Human Services Commissioner may adopt rules regarding distribution of money in the fund. Amounts in the fund may only be used to pay for contract expenses related to aging population research by the Legislative Committee on Aging.
