Created under Texas Constitution Art. III, sec. 51-b. To acquire real property and construct buildings in the capitol complex area, purchase personal property for use in the buildings, and pay necessary architectural and planning fees incurred in carrying out these purposes. Administered by General Services Commission, Building and Procurement Commission and Texas Facilities Commission. Repealed in 1978, continued under Government Code Ch. 403. Inactivated in 2013 for non use.
