Purpose

Previously received court costs collected from defendants convicted under certain sections of the Penal Code. Defendants convicted of a felony pay $133, convicted of a Class A or B misdemeanor pay $83 and convicted of a nonjailable misdemeanor pay $40. This account received 9.8218 percent of total collections. The account may be used only to provide rehabilitative services as provided by TEX. HUM. RES. CODE ANN. § 111.052.
