Created by TEX. HUM. RES. CODE ANN. § 91.056 to hold federal money allocated to the state for vocational rehabilitation of blind persons. Administered by Texas Commission for the Blind, Agency 318. Commission abolished by H.B. 2292, 78th Leg., R.S. and duties transferred to the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Agency 538. Will be handled in the General Revenue Fund (No. 0001) effective 9-1-04.
