Purpose

Account consists of fees collected for used oil registration and sale of automotive oil (for §§ 371.024, 371.026 and 371.062, see Revenue Code 3596), gifts, grants donations and penalties and interest.   Established for use by commission for purposes authorized in Chapter 371 including:
(1) public education;
(2) grants;
(3) registration of used oil collection centers, used oil transporters, used oil marketers, and used oil recyclers; and
(4) administrative costs
