Established by TEX. WATER CODE ANN. § 5.235(n)(7) in 1991 to receive regulatory assessments collected by each provider of potable water or sewer utility services and penalties. To be used to pay costs of district regulation, water supply or sewer service regulation, public utility regulation and to provide on-site technical assistance and training and water sewer services. The account was abolished by H.B. 3231, 75th Leg., R.S., effective 9-1-97. Unexpended balances in the account are to be transferred to GR Account - Water Resource Management (No. 0153).
