Created in 1993 by TEX. OCC. CODE ANN. § 1701.963 for contributions for Texas Peace Officers' Memorial. Administered by the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education, Agency 407. Exempted from Loss of Dedication by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 348, § 7. Upon completion of the memorial, the amount was repealed by S.B. 1567, 78th Leg., R.S. Money contributed to the state after 6-18-03 to be deposited by the State Preservation Board, Agency 809, in their local Texas Capitol Fund outside the Treasury.
