Purpose
To receive court costs collected from defendants convicted under certain sections of the Penal Code. Defendants convicted of a felony pay $185. Defendants convicted of a Class A or B misdemeanor pay $147. Defendants convicted of a nonjailable misdemeanor pay $62. This account receives 8.5748% of total collections. Also receives matching monies in accordance with Public Law 90-351, Title 1, Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968.
