Created in 1983 by TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 25.012 to receive donations and contributions from private sources and entities, and money from air navigation obstruction control permit fees. Name changed April, 1997 from Aviation Trust Fund to conform to applicable statute at the time (§ 25.012).
