Created September 1, 1989 by S.B. 951, 71st Leg., R.S. by TEX. REV. CIV. STAT. ANN. art. 717t § 6 to provide aid to qualifying districts for the purpose of aiding those districts in the acquisition, construction, renovation, or improvement of capital assets and instructional facilities. The fund may also be used to pay the costs of a study of the needs of school districts in all or part of the state for the acquisition, construction, renovation, or improvement of capital assets and instructional facilities. Deleted in 1999.
