Created 2001 by H.B. 3667, 77th Leg., R.S. for deposit of a security for an applicant for a fireworks sales tax permit or for registration as a retailer. S.B. 761, 84th Leg., R.S. repealed the fireworks tax and replaced with an allocation of 2% of sales tax on fireworks. Security no longer needed, fund closed 9/1/2015.
