Purpose
To hold fees and money deposited to cover costs of proceeding under an application to purchase or lease vacant land. Costs include surveying copies and working sketches by land office, mailing or publication of notices and other similar costs, excluding allocable costs of salaries and overhead expended by the land office in actually conducting a hearing or preparing orders and proposals for decision. After proceedings on application concluded and all authorized expenditures paid, commissioner shall remit remaining balance to the applicant.
