Established in 1978 by H.B. 657, 65th Leg., R.S. (TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. §§ 451.404, 453.401) for receipt of Mass Transit Authority tax collected by Comptroller for each city authorizing the collection.
Effective September 1, 1996, city, county, MTA and SPD taxes combined into single new trust account (0882).
