Purpose

To hold in trust money deposited to administer the Federal Capitol Assistance Grants to Private Non-Profit Organizations for Improved Mobility of Elderly and Handicapped Program under Section 16(b)(2), Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as amended. Money expended in the form of grants according to agreements between the Texas Dept. of Transportation, the Urban Mass Transportation Administration and private non-profit organizations for the purchase and operation of passenger vehicles and related equipment. The non-profit organizations are to use the equipment for the transportation of the elderly and handicapped of the State.
