Created in September 1, 1997 by H.B. 460, 75th Leg., R.S. under Transp. Code 504.611 General Revenue for the receipt of license plate fees. Money may be used only by the Attorney General to fund a contract entered into by the Attorney General under Section 264.602, Family Code. Creation of the account was finally authorized by H.B. 2948, 75th Leg., R.S. (Formerly § 502.292, amended by H.B. 2971, 78th Leg., R.S.). H.B. 7, 83rd Leg., R.S. abolished General Revenue-dedicated specialty license plate accounts created under Transportation Code, Subchapter G and changed deposit of license plate revenue to the License Plate Trust Fund (0802). Revenue deposit changed 09/01/2013 and account abolished 09/30/2013.
