Established September 1, 1997 per S.B. 370, 75th Leg., R.S. § 8.06(b) TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. ch. 361. Created in General Revenue and finally authorized by H.B. 2948, 75th Leg., R.S. Account used for receipt of all money and other funds as a result of abolition of the Texas Turnpike Authority and creation of the Texas Turnpike Authority division of the department, including additional consideration from the North Texas Tollway Authority and money received for a feasibility study. Administered by Texas Department of Transportation, Agency 601. No longer used, inactivated 2/6/13.
