Created in 2001 by S.B. 312 and H.B. 3088, 77th Leg., R.S. in TEX. WATER CODE ANN. § 15.952. Account in the General Revenue Fund consists of transfers, gifts, grants or donations and interest earned on the account. Used only to reimburse nonprofit organizations eligible for expenses incurred in a self-help project that results in providing adequate water or wastewater services to a colonia. Administered by Texas Water Development Board, Agency 580. Legal cite amended by H.B. 3506, 78th Leg., R.S. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 608 moved the account to an account within the Water Assistance Fund (0480), effective 6-20-03.
