Purpose

Account in the General Revenue Fund consists of appropriations, interest earned, gifts, grants and donations. Used only for economic development, infrastructure development, community development, job training programs and business. Amounts from abolished GR Account 5124 - Emerging Technology may be appropriated to this account after 9/1/2015.

May be used temporarily for cash management purposes by the comptroller. Funds may also be used for the Texas Homeless Housing and Services Program administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Agency 332.
