Purpose

Account in the General Revenue Fund for deposit of loan payments made by a political subdivision, gifts and grants and proceeds from the sale of general obligation bonds as authorized by Section 40-n, Article III, Texas Constitution. Used to fund loans to political subdivisions and defense communities to prepare a comprehensive defense installation and community strategic impact plans.
