Purpose
Account in the General Revenue Fund for revenue from the sale of specialty license plates depicting a graphic image of a cotton boll. Additional $30 annual fee. Deposit $22 to this account and remainder to the State Highway Fund (0006). Used by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in making grants to benefit Texas Cotton Producers, Inc. for the sole purpose of providing scholarships to students who are pursuing a degree in an agricultural field related to the cotton industry while enrolled in a state-supported institution of higher education.
