Purpose
Account in the General Revenue Fund for revenue from 50% of civil or administrative penalties NTE $75 and late payment penalties NTE $25, collected by a local authority for violation under a photographic traffic signal enforcement system pursuant to §§ 542.406 and 707.007 of the Transportation Code. Used to fund uncompensated care of designated trauma facilities and county and regional emergency medical services and for administration.
