Purpose


An account in general revenue composed of gifts, grants, in-kind contributions, or real or personal property contributed by individuals, groups, associations, or corporations. Also includes money deposited from a community or political subdivision that sponsors an eligible veterinary student.

Used to provide assistance in the repayment of student loans for eligible veterinarians who apply and qualify for the assistance under the rules of the Texas Animal Health Commission rural veterinarian incentive program committee.

Up to 7% of the account value, may be used for program administration and up to 3% of the account value, may be used by the coordinating board for administration of the account.
