Purpose
An account in general revenue administered by the commission. Consists of gifts, grants, and donations, and amounts appropriated by the legislature.
Used to provide grants to eligible public junior colleges, public technical institutes, or nonprofit organizations for performance-based workforce training programs in high demand occupations. The grant amount awarded to an entity for a training program may not exceed $15,000 per training program participant.
