Created 1991 under Government Code 403.11, 403.12, and 403.031 to record and hold all deposits of employee contributions from payroll savings bond deductions pending purchase of the bonds. Deposited to US Savings Bond Account 0901 (inactivated). As of January 1, 2011, agencies are no longer able to offer payroll deduction for savings bonds through Treasury Direct (US Treasury and Bureau of the Fiscal Service). Inactivated fiscal 2014.
