Description
Persons convicted of certain offenses under the Penal Code pay in addition to all other costs, court costs for special services as follows:
- A defendant convicted of a felony -- $133.
- A defendant convicted of a class A or B misdemeanor -- $83.
- Conviction of a nonjailable misdemeanor -- $40.
GR Account -- Fair Defense receives 17.8448% of total fees collected.
Additional $2 court cost collected to fund indigent defense represenation.
