Revenue Object 3035 – Commercial Transportation Fees – Liquefied Petroleum Gas License

Licenses required of each handler of liquefied petroleum gas and equipment. License categories are determined by commission rule. Amounts are set by the commission by rule for initial and renewal fees for LP-gas activities.

Each LP gas cargo trailer, semi-trailer, bobtail and cylinder delivery unit registered or transferred and each truck used principally for transporting LPG in portable containers must be registered annually. The commission shall establish nonrefundable annual registration fees (between$100 and $300) and transfer fees (between $25 and $100).​

The commission may issue provisional licenses and establish a fee to cover the cost of issuing.

Applicants required to take examinations and in addition, may be required to attend approved academic, trade, professional or commission-sponsored seminars, other continuing education programs. Commission sets the examination, course of instruction and seminar registration fees.

For license expired 90 days or less, pays a renewal fee equal to 1 1/2 the normal renewal fee. For expired more than 90 days but less than 1 year equal to 2 times renewal fee. Over 1 year may not renew, must re-apply.

At time of application for original license. All licenses expire at midnight August 31, annually. The commission may adopt a staggered renewal system.
