Description

All manufacturers of foods in the state must be licensed. The department collects fees for each license filed, renewed or amended and each inspection performed and penalties for violations. The fees are set sufficient to recover the biennial expenditures for:

  • Reviewing and acting on licenses
  • Amending and renewing licenses
  • Inspecting licensed facilities
  • Implementing and enforcing the subchapter

Due Date

Initial fee at time of application; renewable two years from date of issuance.
